At B.HOM Student Living, we strive for Growth with Purpose. We don’t simply manage our communities; we elevate them. B.Elevated. B.HOM.

Our story

Growth, With Purpose

The genesis of B.HOM Student Living came about naturally. Our partners expressed a growing desire to invest in the student housing market, and B.HOM Student Living had the operating platform to support this niche service.

We married our long-standing platform with one of the most well-respected, singularly-focused, student housing leaders in the industry to develop what we believe is a specialized management team.

Our vision

To Exceed Partners'
Expectations

We strive to be the most trusted and differentiated student housing operator—recognized for communities that feel like home, operational excellence that’s visible in every interaction, and partnerships that compound value over time. We lead the sector in resident experience and data-driven performance, with leadership teams that are accessible, agile, and deeply involved in the success of every community. Above all, we foster a culture where talented people grow, feel valued, and do the best work of their careers.

Core Values

Our values guide how we show up every day - on-site, in the office, and with our partners:

  1. People-First Service We start with peoples’ experience and work backward. Every process, tool, and decision should make life simpler, safer, and friendlier for students, team members, and our partners. o How we live it: practice transparent, timely communication and active listening; invest in training and growth paths; foster efficient and effective issue resolution.
  2. Accountability We own outcomes—good or bad—and close the loop. We set clear goals, measure what matters, and fix root causes, not symptoms. o How we live it: daily and weekly scorecards (pre-lease, renewals, work orders), action plans with deadlines and owners, and transparent follow-ups to residents and clients.
  3. Grit & Perseverance Student housing is seasonal and intense; we finish strong when it counts. We adapt tactics without lowering standards, especially through leasing peaks and Turn. o How we live it: daily stand-ups in peak season, recovery plans when KPIs slip, and cross-functional help during crunch times.
  4. Empowerment Decisions should be made by the people closest to the work. We equip teams with training, playbooks, and authority—then trust them to act. o How we live it: defined approval guardrails, role-based tools and training, recognizing smart, timely decisions even in imperfect conditions.
  5. Diversity, Inclusion & Belonging We serve diverse residents and communities. We reflect that diversity in our teams and ensure every person feels respected, safe, and welcome. o How we live it: inclusive hiring and development, fair-housing excellence, culturally aware resident and corporate programming and communication.

Why It Matters
This isn’t wall art. These values guide every decision from how we answer a 2:00 AM maintenance call to how we build our budgets. When in doubt, start with People-First Service and work through Accountability, Grit, Empowerment, and Belonging.
If a decision passes through all five values, it’s probably the right call.
